Fender Tone Master® Deluxe Reverb®-Blonde - Amp 120V
In a bold Fender first, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde amplifier uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modeling the circuitry and 22-watt power output of an original Deluxe tube amp. A high-performance 100-watt digital power amp is used to achieve the headroom and dynamic range of a real vintage Deluxe tube amp. The resonant pine cabinet is paired with a single Celestion® NEO Creamback speaker for a more distinctive rock 'n' roll flavor. The result is tubeless Deluxe Reverb tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube original. The amp model has been modified to remove the virtual bright cap on the Vibrato channel, which gives modern players greater tonal flexibility when using distortion and overdrive pedals. Additionally, the reverb control now provides easier fine tuning at lower settings. Perhaps most notably, even with all these features and more, the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is in fact about only half the weight of an all-tube Deluxe.
The blonde vinyl covering elegantly evokes classic early-’60s Fender vibe, and front panel features give guitarists a playing experience identical to the tube version, including Fender’s world-standard reverb and tremolo effects. Additional rear-panel features deliver modern convenience and flexibility—including an output power selector for full power and five attenuated settings, balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations captured with Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421 microphones, mute switch for silent stage or recording use, USB port for firmware upgrades, and more.
The newest additions to the Tone Master Series offer authentic tube tone wrapped in a show-stopping blonde vinyl covering.
By Richard Bienstock
Debuting in 1963, the Deluxe Reverb and Twin Reverb guitar amps quickly achieved prominence as staples of the Fender amplifier line. Over the following decades, they’ve established themselves as two of the most iconic and widely-used combos in modern music history – used by everyone from Duane Allman, Neil Young and Stevie Ray Vaughan to Johnny Marr, Kurt Cobain and Jack White.
Put simply: The sound of these amps is the sound of rock ‘n’ roll itself. And now, that incomparable tube amp tone is captured in the new Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde and Tone Master Twin Reverb Blonde amps – the next evolution of Fender’s popular Tone Master Series. Both amps, newly finished in blonde vinyl covering and Oxblood grille cloth that evoke elegant early-’60s Fender vibe, employ massive digital processing power to faithfully model the circuitry and output of their tube-driven predecessors, while also incorporating a host of modern features to enhance the utility and range of the originals.
The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde uses a high-performance 100-watt digital power amp to faithfully model the circuitry and 22-watt power of an original Deluxe, while the Tone Master Twin Reverb Blonde incorporates a 200-watt digital power amp to recreate the original’s 85-watt power output. The result is tubeless tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube originals. What’s more, both amps offer the same front-panel control layout and aesthetic as their predecessors — including Fender’s world-standard reverb and tremolo effects, as well as Normal and Vibrato channels — for an authentic playing experience.
But the impressive Tone Master technology doesn’t just recreate the past — it also updates everything that makes these amps classics with new features for the modern guitarist. This digital wizardry is evident when you flip the amps around. Both rear panels feature a six-position output power switch that delivers stepped attenuation, from stage performance all the way down to bedroom level. Just how low do these amps go? The Twin Reverb can be attenuated down to a neighbor-friendly volume of one watt, while the Deluxe Reverb is capable of downshifting to an astounding .2 watts of power. Additionally, a three-position cabinet simulation switch offers two preset impulse response profiles modeled with Shure SM57 and Sennheiser MD421 microphones and a flat signal with no cabinet emulation. There’s also a mute switch for silent stage or recording use, a balanced XLR with ground lift and level control, a USB port for firmware upgrades and more.
Furthermore, the reverb controls on both amps provide easier fine-tuning at lower settings, while the Twin Reverb Blonde has been further modified to remove the virtual bright cap on the Vibrato channel – giving modern players greater tonal flexibility when using overdrive and distortion pedals. And both amps come in resonant pine cabinets enclosures loaded with Celestion’s new NEO Creamback speaker (one in the Deluxe, two in the Twin) for unparalleled rock ‘n’ roll tone with a distinctively “British” flavor.
Clearly, there’s a lot more than meets the eye on our Tone Master amps – but there’s also less. Try grabbing the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde or Twin Reverb Blonde by its molded-strap handle, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised — amazed, even — that these amps come in at roughly half the weight of their all-tube predecessors.
That means you get all the legendary Fender tone, headroom and dynamic range of these all-tube classics in a lighter, more versatile box. With the Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde and Tone Master Twin Reverb Blonde, Fender has brought the world’s most enduring gigging and recording amps roaring into the present with style, convenience and unprecedented accuracy for players at every level.

Designed to match the traditional G12M-65 Creamback speaker, the Celestion® Neo Creamback speaker is engineered using lightweight neodymium magnets. | Lighter than plywood, solid pine is a traditional Fender cabinet material from the ‘50s and ’60s, making for more resonant and more “musical” speaker cabinets. |
