The D6 dynamic instrument microphone is used for stage, studio and broadcast applications. Designed with a cardioid pickup pattern for isolation and feedback control, the D6 drum microphone is equipped with a VLM™ diaphragm for natural, accurate sound reproduction.

Lightweight, compact, and easy to position, the D6 cardioid microphone is an excellent choice for miking instruments requiring extended low-frequency reproduction such as kick drums, large toms, and bass cabinets. The D6’s transformerless design, low impedance, and balanced output allow for interference-free performance.

Tuned specifically for kick drum and low-frequency instruments
The D6 is designed specifically to tackle kick drums and other low-frequency instruments. There is 14dB of boost at 60 Hz, 15dB between 4 and 5K, and 17db between 10 and 12k. The tailored response of this microphone makes it ideal for use with bass drums. The D6 capsule features the same legendary VLM technology that has made the D series percussion and instrument microphones very popular for today's live stages and recording studios. The VLM diaphragm ensures that the mic responds very quickly to transients, ensuring the attack isn't lost.

Drums can be one of the hardest instruments to record, especially when trying to replicate the sound of a previous recording. The Audix D6 is designed to sound good in any position and it is not dependent on finding the "sweet spot" of the drum.

How are rewards points calculated? You will earn points for every one dollar (less tax and shipping fees) spent. If returns and adjustments exceed purchases, this could result in negative reward points. Once you accumulate $200 in purchases - you will earn a $5 Rewards certificate, or 2.5% in Rewards. You will continue to earn Rewards certificates in $5 increments, for every $ 200.00 in purchases. Additional points may be earned during periodic special promotions such as 2x points, determined at SM Hanson Music’s discretion.

Can I use/redeem multiple rewards? You can redeem multiple SM Hanson Music Rewards on a single transaction.

Can my rewards be used anytime? SM Hanson Music Rewards can be combined with any promotional offer.

What happens to the left-overs? If the value of a purchase is less than the value of the SM Hanson Music Rewards being redeemed, then any remaining SM Hanson Music Rewards balance will be forfeited.

Do my SM Hanson Rewards have a cash value? SM Hanson Music Rewards cannot be credited to an account or redeemed for cash.
