Creating loops on the fly couldn’t be easier.

A single footswitch is all it takes to record, overdub, and play along with your coolest riffs and patterns.

Featuring high-quality 24-bit, 44.1kHz audio recording of up to 6 minutes, AFX Broken Record let’s you capture cool ideas and build on them, or even play along with pre-recorded audio you transfer from your computer.

Built-in memory will retain what you recorded even after the power is disconnected. So, you can unplug at your gig and transfer your loop to your computer later. This also means that the backing track you transfer from your computer will be ready and waiting for you to play back at your next performance.

AFX Minis allow you to choose the audio path on which a particular effect will be processed. You do this by flipping the Audio Path switch on the front of the pedal.

With true bypass, the pedal’s electronics are literally removed from the signal chain. For those who prefer a buffered bypass, AFX Mini effect pedals are switchable.

Input Mixer

There are 4 input faders that let you setup 2 mixes, one for A and one for B. When you press the footswitch, you toggle these mixes which are sent to the outputs. How these levels are mixed and routed is ultimately determined by the A/B Modes switch that sits directly above the mix faders.

DC Power

In order to pack a lot of functionality into the smallest stompbox size we could find, AFX Minis require external power. Be sure to use a Fishman 910-R(120VAC) or 910-U(230VAC) power adapter to ensure the above specs.

AFX Dual Routing - More possibilities in fewer steps

All AFX Minis are compatible with standard guitar instrument cables. They also feature an innovative dual channel audio path that lets you create two independent effect chains with a single series of cables.

Simply connect several AFX Minis together with TRS “stereo” guitar cables and set the Audio Path switch on each pedal to “Tip” or “Ring.” Pedals set to “Tip” will create one effect chain while pedals set to “Ring” will create another effect chain.

AFX Minis allow you to choose the audio path on which a particular effect will be processed. You do this by flipping the Audio Path switch on the front of the pedal.

If you want to use standard instrument, guitar, and patch cables, be sure to set the Audio Path switch to Tip (mono).

What is a TRS cable?

TRS simply means Tip-Ring-Sleeve. It refers to the three signal conductors that make up the 1/4 inch phone plug in this type of cable. These plugs and cables are sometimes referred to as “stereo” or “balanced.”

A common guitar cable is Tip-Sleeve, which is only two signal conductors; it carries one audio signal (Tip) and ground (Sleeve). TRS cables offer two separate audio signals (Tip and Ring) plus ground (Sleeve).

When stereo headphones use TRS, the Tip carries the Left channel audio, while the Ring carries the right channel. Microphone cables have long used 3 conductors to deliver balanced audio signals which offers the lowest noise performance in most situations.

AFX Mini pedals use the Tip and Ring to enable you to create two separate signal paths, reducing the number of patch cables needed to do so.
