The GPC-X2E pairs a spruce with striking HPL back and sides in cocobolo patterns. Comfortable, durable, and great sounding—with a cutaway and electronics for any stage.
The X Series is made to play. The acoustic-electric GPC-X2E features a hand-rubbed satin wood top and eye-catching high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides patterns—cocobolo with a spruce top — for added durability and looks, without sacrificing that classic Martin sound. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience, while its Grand Performance body size provides a projective, balanced tone with added bass, and a cutaway helps you reach the highest frets. The GPC-X2E also features an elegant abalone pattern rosette, select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, and Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, letting you plug in and play at any volume. All X Series models come with a softshell case.

Martin E1
The Martin E1 includes controls for Volume (to control overall output of the pickup), Tone (to control the bass and treble response of the pickup), and Phase (to reverse the phase 180 degrees, which can decrease feedback and increase bass response). It also includes a built-in chromatic tuner that does not need an instrument cable to be used. When the chromatic tuner is engaged, all output will be muted for silent tuning.
