"Hi, I'm Steve Hanson, for SM Hanson Music. Have you ever wished you could play guitar?" Steve coined those phrases 36 years ago, and they are still used today. Over the years, he has developed the special and very successful methods that SM Hanson Music uses today. As director of SM  Hanson Music, Steve has written numerous methods and set the standards for education in Guitar, Bass and Banjo. He is a past director of education for NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), Steve is still very active in writing methods, teaching, performing, and production of "Festival Jam" (opening night of the Smoky Hill River Festival).
